Job Description

This role will report directly to the Business Architect Leader within the Supply Chain & Business Solutions Organization and will be responsible for guiding GTT (Global Tax and Trade) and Logistics business architecture for Solidigm Global Operations team.

Supply Chain & Business Solutions Business Architect (GTT/Logistics)
Solidigm's Global Operations Supply Chain & Business Solutions Organization is beginning our exciting journey to standup a new business with transformative business models and state of the art Supply Chain technologies and processes. We are building a diverse team of passionate, innovative, collaborative and results-oriented problem solvers with the aim of enabling data and analytics driven decisions for impactful business results and competitive advantage. We are looking for a creative, innovative, and passionate Business Architect to drive impactful future state capability & process designs and deployments. You will be working directly with the leaders of Global Operations to drive the business strategy and business outcomes required. You will be working with other leaders, strategists, architects, engineers, and data scientists while being surrounded by a fast paced, innovative, and passionate organization that is empowered to build a state-of-the-art supply chain.

You will immediately jump in to drive our ERP deployment in the GTT/Logistics domain. As a Business Architect you will collaborate closely with our business users, consultants, program managers, technical teams, IT teams, and other functions to drive future state capability and process design. You will drive our strategic improvement roadmap by discovering and defining the problem statements, evaluate solution options and make recommendations for new capabilities, business models, business processes, and technologies. You will work with other supply chain functions to plan and deliver collective business objectives. You will manage business requirements & prioritization by translating expected strategic business outcomes into capability requirements. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts, documenting and validating business processes. You will work with Solution, System, Information, and Data Architects to identify any required alignment of the business architecture with the information, system, data, and technology architecture. You will drive implementation of the deployment plan and liaise with Business Architect Leads of other streams to address any integration issues, impacts or dependencies with respect to process, information and people/roles. You will drive end-to-end testing plans to ensure the solution meets the capability and process requirements. You will drive adoption and support knowledge transfer by creating and delivering training. Finally, you will lead organizational learning by driving continuous improvement post deployment.  Collaboration and teamwork, communication, and your ability to influence teams will be your tools of success to plan out the future capabilities needed for our organization and ensure you will be a key player in providing value-adding capabilities that enable our business to achieve strategic growth and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with your internal and external partners to capture, validate, and maintain business process flows
  • Own and drive roadmap of capabilities in your domain that progress the objectives of the organization.
  • Applying business architecture practice to identify operational capabilities, business processes, fit/gap requirements and perform assessments based on the need of business strategy and business model.
  • Engage and collaborate with other organizations to ensure your capabilities and roadmap are shared, agreed upon, and have a holistic benefit to the Business and not just an isolated benefit.
  • Communicate with the Global Operations teams and leadership on metrics, critical achievements, and deployed benefits.
  • Drive insights by creating connecting data models for various business models and processes.
  • Understand the breadth of tools and the respective users to better represent their requirements. Drive and manage multi-functional forums, agendas, minutes, and action follow ups.
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze their business needs and align capability roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Solve capability/process issues related problems as they arise.
  • Setup and facilitate meetings to drive solutions to issues or business outcomes.
  • Complete trade-off analysis and/or cost benefit analysis to support decision making among relevant teams.
  • Document and share processes with business owners and business architecture community. Represent team in front of managers, executives, partners, suppliers, or users.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in appropriate field of study and 5 – 7 years equivalent work experience in field of Supply Chain/GTT and Logistics/Sales Operations/Supply Chain IT.
  • 5 years business architecture experience in GTT and Logistics, supply chain, and operations domains
  • At minimum, industry knowledge of capabilities within GTT and Logistics & supply chain technologies including SAP ERP Business Process Analysis expertise, knowledge of SAP ERP solutions and ability to map business priorities to SAP solution components
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with SAP S4/HANA and Ariba applications in Supply Chain related / GTT and Logistics related business processes, preferably hands-on experience with SAP S4/HANA & Ariba implementations in Supply Chain
  • Expert documentation skills, particularly process documentation
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating findings to executive level audience.
  • Strong ability to facilitate and drive meetings ranging from small to large size audiences (5 to 20 people) and to manage conflict within group.
  • Be comfortable in an individual, self-driven role, as well as in a team environment.
  • Must possess strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities, to assess complex problems, analyze options and navigate diverse perspectives and objectives.
