Job Description
We are looking for a bright, energetic and talented lead software engineer to join our team at SK hynix memory solutions America. This person will be primarily focused on building and managing internal SSD test tools team. You will have a direct impact on our ability to develop, test, and deliver high quality products to our internal customers quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SW development team and projects, and team member professional development
- Design/develop/maintain internal PCIe/NVMe test tools
- Enhance software build and deployment strategy
- Train internal customers
- Manage work collaboration of teams across multiple geographic locations
Qualifications
- PhD 3 / MS 5 / BS 7 years of experience
- Advanced degree in computer science/engineering or software engineering, with 10 years related working experience and 2 years in a lead/manger role preferred
- Proficiency in C/C /JavaScript/Assem and OS kernels; Windows and Linux
- Proficiency in Software engineering - analyze/design/develop/release/document/process
- Knowledge/skill in enterprise SSD firmware development a plus (front-end / back-end) or in HDD firmware/software development
- Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to be productive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills – strong people skills
