Systems Administrator with Security Clearance - Now Hiring

Solidus is searching for a Systems Administrator to join a team that leads the development of novel optical communication technologies and systems for national security and civil applications. This position will be 100% on-site due to the nature of the work with limited remote flexibility. Responsibilities: - Installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of computer workstations, servers, and network infrastructure. - Manage and maintain the stock of computer/IT supplies and spares. - Direct-end user support in a mixed OS environment which includes imaging, software installs, printer maintenance and general troubleshooting. - Off-loading and expediting support requests from the Information Services help desk. - Complying with the security policies set forth by the organization Requirements: - US Citizenship and able to obtain a Secret Clearance - 5 years of relevant experience Required skills: - Operating Systems: Windows - Hardware: Dell, SuperMicro, Cisco, Apple, Intel/AMD. - Software/applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook), MS Active Directory account management, virtual machine software - Networking experience, including the majority of these protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, SSH, FTP and HTTP/S. - Experience with Virtualization tools, eg. VMware ESX, VMware Horizon View, vCenter - Candidates must be enthusiastic, innovative and motivated self-starters able to work independently, or with a group, to achieve program requirements Preferred skills: - Operating systems such as MacOS, RHEL, CentOS and/or Ubuntu preferred - Software configuration management such as Puppet, Ansible. - Provisioning automation such as Kickstart, RHEL Satellite or Foreman - Programming Languages: Shell Scripting, Powershell. - System auditing, hardening and firewall configurations - RMF knowledge Req ID: 4644 Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
