The Vice President of Solution and Strategy Development will report to the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, working closely with team members and partners to advance the strategic agenda of Solis. You will drive our solution and strategy development and lead high-profile, corporate-wide growth initiatives. Through your entrepreneurial drive and agile experience, you will lead a team to define and commercialize new capabilities that advance our core business.

Results Measured by the Following Responsibilities:

  • Understands, promotes, and demonstrates the Solis Way as a leader within the organization.
  • Leads the corporate strategic planning process with the senior executive team.
  • Develops new solutions including roadmaps, commercialization, and partnerships.
  • Coordinates the development of deliverables including strategic plan, capital plan, annual budget, annual product and innovation road map, and investment allocation.
  • Identifies priority initiatives required to effectively execute the organization’s strategy.
  • Leads portfolio of projects – strategy analysis, launching commercial partnerships, etc.
  • Frames and evaluates trends, competitors, market opportunities and business cases to support new growth strategies and increase existing business market share.
  • Creates and delivers executive presentations, aligning stakeholders to a strategy plan.
  • Continuously monitors company and market performance to determine if strategies need to be adjusted or new strategies should be introduced.
  • Brings data-driven problem-solving approaches and iterative capability building to address most meaningful enterprise challenges and drive sustained profitable growth. This includes analyzing root causes of gaps, providing key financial and operational data and insights, and developing project plans to bring new strategies to life.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree required.  MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
  • 10 years’ work experience consulting, strategy, business development, operations or strategic planning required with at least 3 of those years outside of management consulting.
  • Experience in a role responsible for managing the execution of significant corporate-wide transformation initiatives required.
  • Experience developing business opportunities (product development) from ideation to execution required.
  • Strategy planning & analysis experience within the healthcare industry required.
  • Management experience with a leading consultancy firm or operating experience in high-growth healthcare IT or services preferred.
  • Quantitative analysis skills and advanced PowerPoint user required.
