We are searching for an innovative VP of Marketing to join our growing company. As the VP of Marketing, you will develop brand and marketing strategies, delegate tasks to the marketing team, set and achieve targets, establish relationships with the media and clients, run our ABM program, and oversee our Demand Gen strategies. You should be able to build relationships with a variety of professionals, learn quickly, manage a fast-paced environment, and be able to quickly adapt to change.
To be successful as a VP of marketing, you should be a self-starting multitasker who thrives in a competitive environment. Outstanding candidates have extensive marketing experience and are able to make decisions under pressure while managing and leading the team to success.
Responsibilities:
- Finalize, manage, and optimize our ABM strategy and implementation
- Be familiar with DemandGen to a degree that allows you to oversee the related initiatives, make improvements, guide decisions, and mature our strategy
- Fulfill and help to shape the overall strategic vision of the Executive Team
- Implement and optimize Solo’s long-term goals. This includes aligning with each department and developing a strategy that allows the Marketing Team to play an impactful role in helping the company achieve
- Growing, managing, training, and helping the team. You will be in charge of taking the current team from where they are to where they need to be.
- Manage the Marketing budget and oversee the ROI of the Marketing Team’s efforts
- Setting daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets, and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved
- Closely monitoring competitors’ successes and failures and learning from them
- Strategizing campaigns and supervising marketing events and launches and using these spaces to network with industry professionals, clients, and potential clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or closely related field
- 8 years of Marketing experience, 3 years of Marketing leadership experience
- Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director, or other senior role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, current software trends, and cutting-edge tools
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to make difficult decisions.
