Our direct global client is seeking a Technology IT Consultant to advance the technology capabilities of the global Corporate Services function. The individual will work closely with Corporate Services stakeholders to document business requirements and manage system implementation and enhancement projects.This positionrequires 3 days per week onsite at the client's NYC office (T-W-Th), will initially be a one year contract, and is anticipated to offer conversion to full-time employee status in the future (at Director level).
Responsibilities: - Gather business requirements using interviews, workshops, documentation review, business process maps, or any other required method, ensuring a comprehensive analysis can be performed
- Collaborate with external vendor partners and internal teams to implement solutions
- Serve as a thought leader and strategic partner for the Corporate Services function by leading project implementations, innovation, and benchmarking efforts
- Review and understand client's current facilities systems, such as Lighting, Security, Capacity Management, Corporate Services System/Application portfolio rationalization
- Apply developed design standards to new office buildout projects and review legacy systems for opportunities to refresh and align with the latest global standards
- Transitionfragmented Corporate Services System environment to a future-facing cohesive strategy around a global model and design
- Lead scope definition and requirement sessions; utilize negotiation skill sets to drive the project team and stakeholders to make timely decisions and deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Partner with the business to ensure SLAs and other key metrics are met or exceeded
- Identify best practices for optimizing system use both internally and externally
- Participate in production support and BAU enhancements of Systems Infrastructure projects
- Develop test cases, participate in QA testing, lead UAT for upgrades, enhancements, fixes or rollouts
Required Qualifications: - 10 years of project management with exposure to Infrastructure and Operations experience required
- Knowledgeable with systems infrastructure (Network, Telecom, Building Management Systems, Building Automation & Building Energy Systems
- Experience implementing and supporting BMS/BAS/BEMS systems
- Excellent conceptualization, analytical, and logical skills enabling comprehension and development of complex technical and business issues, topics, and plans
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with business users as well as other members of the technical team
- Must be self-directed and motivated
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast paced environment
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
