What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Tech position at Solomon Page?
We are looking for a Lab Technician for a top beauty company in Clark, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Creates/Innovate formulation of face products with senior chemist and follows-up on stability of formulas as well as make adjustments to fix formulas.
- Show creativity and resourcefulness to come up with solutions to issues, which may arise during which product development and/or in anticipation to issues which may appear in lab.
- To perform testing, analysis and disposition of raw materials, bulk formulas, work in process (WIP) and finished goods in support of production and release of cosmetic products.
- Maintains technical awareness of developments within field of responsibility.
- Communicates to supervisor important observations and test results in an effective manner.
- Perform product stability on all formulas as well as rectify stability issues.
- Keep accurate and precise records.
- Work on sensory evaluation of products.
Required Qualifications:
- Need to be detailed-oriented.
- BS in Chemistry or related field required.
- 1-2 years of Experience.
