What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at Solomon Page?
Our client is looking to fill the role of Tax Manager. This position will be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities across various for-profit sectors such as Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, and Professional Services.
- Experience researching tax related matters and providing written correspondence with an understanding of the structure of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations.
- Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships including Billing & Collections independently.
- Representing the company in the professional and business community with a Strong positive Attitude
- Participating in the proposal process for prospective clients
- Assisting with managing, developing, and training professional tax staff
- Experience managing multiple client engagements
- A strong sense of ownership for advocating for and providing a voice of direction for the company by participating in committees designed for client or staff development and operations
- Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years or more of relevant experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and research
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA license required
- Master's degree in Taxation or LL.M.
- Experience with CCH ProSystems tax software (Engagement, Document a plus)
- PAID RELOCATION TO FLORIDA
