SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The Department of Administrations’ SCEIS division is preparing for the migration to SAP S-4/HANA. This will include pre-migration Technical Preparation activities for S-4/HANA along with the eProcurement implementation for the State Fiscal Accountability Authority (SFAA) and technical upgrades to BW/BI-BOBJ.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
This project management assistance will include, but is not limited to:
• Lead planning and development of project charters, timelines and detailed schedules.
• Plan and lead meetings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve project objectives/goals.
• Analyze, evaluate and document current business processes and procedures.
• Lead and document requirements gathering and blueprinting/design.
• Identify, monitor and report project risks and issues; report project status to SCEIS and other stakeholders.
• Develop a thorough understanding of processes, dependencies, and requirements to ensure successful progress of project.
• Provide recommendations to incorporate technology to improve business processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• Strong project management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to different levels of the organization and with outside stakeholders/vendors.
• Ability to collaborate across divisional boundaries to ensure timely, effective and efficient completion of projects.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify, document, and map business requirements and processes.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• Strong schedule management and resource planning skills.
• SAP Enterprise level project experience. Experience with S-4/HANA migration/implementations.
• Public Sector experience with Logistics, Plant Maintenance or Information Technology.
• Ability to complete projects on time as schedule.
• Ability to work at a high-volume and fast pace.
• Ability to identify, map, and reengineer business processes.
• Familiarity and competence with MS Visio, Excel, Project and Teams
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Project Management.

Experience in managing medium to large scale IT/SAP projects or a combination of education and work experience clearly demonstrating applicant’s ability to successfully manage SAP implementations
PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
PMP/ACP or other PMI, certification.
