SUMMARY of Duties

• Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and groundskeeping, to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff, providing leadership and training.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to identify and address facility-related issues, and to implement improvements that enhance the overall resident experience.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.

• Preferably two (2) years’ supervisory experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, including OSHA and ADA standards.
• Experience managing budgets and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.

A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
