JOB SUMMARY
This position helps manage the planning efforts of the teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs, develops, modifies and reviews drawings for landscape architecture projects according to established standards.
Is proficient in the use of CADD
Corrects documents.
May act as the Project Manager or Task Manager and discusses objectives, requirements and budget of a project with the Team Leader.
Researches the requirements for unique landscape projects.
Provides specialized technical assistance in connection with particular landscape projects, components, materials, elements and associated building codes.
Provides various pre-design services which may include conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies, selecting a site or specifying the requirements the design must meet.
Prepares documents and presents ideas for the client to review, including renderings and animations.
Follows applicable building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations and other ordinances.
May participate in performing site visits and inspections.
Prepares drawings and presents ideas for the design team and Team Leader to review, including renderings and animations.
Develops final landscape construction plans with sufficient details for its construction.
Acts as inspector and plan reviewer.
Mentors and trains other staff.
Develops construction specifications and contract documents for bidding.
Keeps up to date with the constantly changing materials, technology and regulations.
Makes necessary changes throughout the planning, design and construction process.
Develops solutions to technical problems with landscape architectural plans or drawings.
Develops client relationships and new project leads and participates in company promotional activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college and a minimum of 4 years’ experience. Driver’s License required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current registration as a Landscape Architect.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of CADD Design software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Project).
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
