We are assisting our client in their search for an AP Clerk. This is a 2- month contract opportunity based out of Santa Ana, CA (Onsite).
Qualifications:
- Full cycle AP or related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups formulas).
- Self-directed and effective when working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Solid multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Team player with a positive and “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and manage your time in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Must have desire and aptitude for learning and applying technology concepts to support company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable functions accurately and efficiently and ensure all related SP policies and procedures are followed.
- Make sure invoices have appropriate approval and/or purchase order as defined by corporate policy.
- Make sure invoices are paid using proper pay terms as defined by corporate policy and vendor terms.
- Responsible for the daily Accounts Payable workflow.
- Make sure invoices are entered into the system on time and coded properly.
- Responsible for effective communication and maintenance of vendor accounts, including research, resolution of problems, and statement reconciliation.
- Demonstrates superior customer service; interacts with a positive and constructive approach.
- Communicates established SP policies and procedures to internal and external customers.
Pay Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA: $17/hour to $18/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
