Senior Corporate Program Manager
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
Directs and provides leadership to contractor and sub-contractor teams working with local, State, or Federal government programs in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements.
Oversees desk teams, field subject matter experts, specialists, and engineers in the execution of duties that may include preparing proposals, writing contract terms and conditions, engineering services, site surveys, installation drawings, ordering and delivery of products, configuration of data management, training, logistics support, preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status, and reviewing contractual obligations.
Implements government programs through a risk and oversight approach for all phases of program activities; identifies risks and problems, proposes solutions, and provides timely and accurate contract deliverables.
Develops and interprets policies in specific program areas, and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to top officials in the development of cooperative relationships, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet local, State, and Federal goals and objectives.
Directs, administers, and evaluates programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas.
Leads a group of employees in carrying out a government program, administering and carrying out program requirements and activities, and assures compliance program activities with laws and regulations.
Ensures the effective management of the assigned program areas.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s Degree with at least 15 years of experience. Ten additional years of relevant experience (25) may be substituted in lieu of Master’s Degree.
Must have experience with large and diverse Logistics programs.
Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance.
Must be able to provide oral and written discussions of analytical findings using narratives and graphic illustrations.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
Proficiency in the utilization of SharePoint
High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work on a high-performance, fast-paced team, and balance multiple, high priority tasks simultaneously.
A solid understanding of Defense contracts practices, language, and culture.
Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) government contract.
Familiar with federal guidelines and best practices.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information.
The person in this position must be able to detect, identify, observe, and assess written communications; presentations; and manuals.
