Gaffney Branch Manager
What will I do? The Branch Manager (BM) leads a team of construction project managers, overseeing Solution Services’ business development and construction operations in the Gaffney, South Carolina Upstate region (focus of 45-mile radius). Leadership of the following direct reports: 2 – Mechanical PMs; 1 – Electrical PM; 1 – outside Salesperson.
The BM is responsible for:
· Leadership, mentorship, and accountability of the branch
· Branch profitability & yearly growth
· Ensuring customers are satisfied and quality work is rendered
· Ensuring safety is a top priority
· Establishing and achieving quarterly & annual branch goals, and nesting them with company goals
· Being a value-added member of the company’s five-person Leadership Team

Who are we? Solution Services was formed in 1998 with a focus on mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment, especially in paper mills. Over the years, the company developed into a multi-disciplined full-service provider of construction services (mechanical, electrical, engineering) to the industrial market.
Our focus areas are: (1) piping installation with many projects on carbon and stainless-steel process piping, (2) structural steel installation which works alongside our piping installation for supports and access, (3) rotating equipment installation and maintenance, (4) electrical installation, and (5) engineering services for design build projects and stand-alone design services.

What skills and experience are required? The BM must have a consistent bias for action for project performance and resolute decision making. The BM is responsible for ensuring the project managers meet all established scope, budget, and schedule commitments with quality services and deliverables and ongoing customer relationship and care. The BM is also responsible for maintaining positive client relations, considering the interests of both the client and Solution Services fairly and equally. The Branch Manager manages customer expectations with the team and directly.
Strong interpersonal skills required to lead a team, work cross-functionally with leaders across the company, and be a contributing member of the company’s leadership team. Must be a "doer" and an "influencer". We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative and excellent time management skills.
Must be able to communicate well in verbal and written formats, to include project scopes and technical communication. Candidate must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
What is the compensation and what are the benefits? Competitive base salary ($115k – 130k) annual bonus based on performance (up to 15% of base salary).
