The CCTV Field Laborer position will be responsible for all activities related to assisting the CCTV Operator with inspection of Sewer Lines, Catch basins and other structures. The Field Laborer will be responsible for opening manholes, clearing the area of debris and overgrowth, pulling camera cable and placing of camera. The Field Laborer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective performance of the work in accordance with the local, state or commercial agencies policies and procedures. The Field Laborer will provide safe and professional operation of all CCTV Equipment. The successful candidate will be an organized, hands-on person with good technical understanding, software manipulation, communication skills and problem-solving capabilities. This person will be required to learn how to operate the CCTV truck and software. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Locates manholes, service connections, valves and other utilities
- Clear debris from manholes, water and sewer lines, sewer stream crossings, easements, valve boxes, etc.
- Inspect and evaluate condition of systems; diagnoses leaks, blockages or other problems;
- Perform confined space entries into permit required confined spaces as needed;
- Gather tools and equipment needed to complete work activities; picks up and transports materials, tools and supplies;
- Adhere to established safety procedures: monitors work environment and use of safety equipment to ensure safety of employees, other individuals, equipment, and property;
- Flag and directs traffic and places markers, signs and cones around project or work site to ensure safety of crew and the traveling public; and wears personal protective equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills
· Experience operating CCTV and sewer cleaning equipment
- Operating remote camera that utilize CCTV to record interiors of various pipelines for inspections to determine if cleaning is needed (as well as what type) and if the pipeline is a candidate for lining.
- Experience operating sewer combination vacuum/jetter truck and/or trailer
- Competence locating manholes from a map
- Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
- Repair various pipelines using a specific product and process (Cues, Schwalm, Envirosight, ect.)
- CDL Class B license
Required Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience
- High school diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 1 year of related work experience preferred
LICENSURES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Must possess and maintain the following certifications within 2 weeks of date of hire:
- Confined Space Entry
- OSHA 10
- Must possess the following certifications within 6 months of start date:
- Trenching and Excavation
- Flagger.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand and perform strenuous tasks for hours at a time as well as meet physical demand requirements that are at levels of those for active work
- Must be able to perform physical labor as well as move or carry related objects or materials
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of job-related machines
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The environment in which the job is performed, especially any unique conditions outside a normal office environment:
- 100% field environment
- Travel between field office and various project sites as required
- Available for 24-hour on call services during a work shift as needed
