Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers is looking to add a compassionate member to work out of our Ohio locations in Warren or Clinton county. If you are someone with a high school diploma or equivalent and have a passion to give back to your community then this might be the job for you.


In this role, you will provide supportive services to individuals with mental illness. You will teach daily living skills and ensure safety and well-being for our clients. This position does not require any hours in the evening or the weekend.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Regards adults with serious mental illness as persons with dignity and competence and engages them as full collaborators in service delivery.
  • Monitors self-administration of prescribed medications by requiring client’s to sign required forms, documenting medication changes and completing medication refill forms.
  • Coordinates provided support and treatment planning with CSP workers, significant others, family members and other medical professionals.
  • Supports the mission and follows the procedures and policies of Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers.
  • Provides emotional support by interacting with clients face to face. Ensures progress by monitoring emotional and mental health, treatment plans and other items.
  • Communicates with agency service providers, and other professionals by attending meetings and training sessions.


Job Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 months experience working in a similar environment.
  • The ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations.
  • Understanding and compassion for both clients and family members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptable to teaching various learning styles.

We provide crisis services, outpatient counseling for mental health and alcohol/drug problems, psychiatric (pharmacological management) services, case management and other specialized services.
