Compounding Pharmacy Technician

-Non sterile compounding including topical preparations, solutions, suspension, suppositories, troches, sublingual tablets, capsules

-STERILE compounding under direct pharmacist supervision

-Prioritize Compounding orders

-Compounding Record maintenance

-Compounding Equipment Maintenance

-Inventory Management

-Monitor pharmacy refrigerator and freezer

-Maintain continuing education and knowledge in the following areas:
o Safety
o Hazardous substances
o Medication safety
o Patient confidentiality
o Medication Errors

-The main duty will be STERILE & NON-STERILE compounding but will also include prescription order entry and filling, and any other duties assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge for the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

-The position is full time between 40 hours per week with possible overtime

Job Type: Full-time
