Solvis Employment Services is now hiring a Customer Service Supervisor for a (Bakery) bread Manufacturing plant located in Los Angeles.

Looking for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead and manage team of customer service representatives and provide exceptional service to their wholesale clients. This role is responsible for developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures and ensuring that customer service standards are met. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and bakery/food manufacturing knowledge.

PRINCIPAL ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES ·

  • Supervisory Role: Lead and mentor a team of customer service representatives. ·
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently. ·
  • Order Processing: Oversee the processing of wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. · Issue Resolution: Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution. ·
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for the customer service team to enhance product knowledge and service skills. ·
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze customer service metrics to ensure departmental goals are met or exceeded. ·
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in customer service procedures and implement necessary changes. ·
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and/or on-the-job experience needed

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years human resources experience
  • Experience with CRM, EDI systems, manage online portal and basic trouble shooting and other relevant tools for order management and tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microso ft Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Must have Customer Service Supervisor experience

Industry-specific knowledge, skills & abilities needed

▪ Baking Industry - baking or food industry a plus

▪ Working in a manufacturing environment a plus

Functional/Job-Related knowledge, skills & abilities needed

▪ Work Planning, Organization, and Execution – organization skills for maintaining HR filing

▪ Personal Computer Skills – proficient in standard operating systems and business software such as Excel, Word, Power Point experience a plus

Interpersonal knowledge, skills & abilities needed

  • Oral and Written Communication – good oral and written communication and ability to work with others
  • Setting and Achieving Goals – Self Starter
  • ▪Business Relationships – Experience working with all levels of management a plus
  • Detail Orientation - Strives to do well and continuously attempts to consistently meet set standards
  • Initiative - Identifies and acts upon opportunities to increase quality of own work and maximize contribution.

Schedule may vary between 7am – 9am start time. One weekend day might be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
