Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant's kitchen and food service. The Food Manager will be responsible for supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and providing excellent customer service. Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, following all food safety regulations
- Train new employees on proper food handling procedures and kitchen protocols
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
- Address resident concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the kitchen

Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing an outstanding dining experience
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
