Description

Job Title: Linen Department Worker

Reports To: Warehouse Director


Summary: Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Stock and pick merchandise manually or with ladders and powered industrial equipment.
  2. May be asked to work in various departments to fulfill production goals.
  3. Inspects merchandise for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
  4. Organizes merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
  5. Fills customer orders in accordance with prep tickets and completes appropriate paperwork.
  6. Maintains a neat and orderly workplace at all times to include sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
  7. Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training, and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Good understanding of English language


Education/Experience:

Laundry experience preferred

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior warehouse experience is helpful.
