Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Captain to join our team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in bartending, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all bar activities, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
• Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Train and mentor bar staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism
• Create and update cocktail menus, ensuring that they are innovative and appealing to customers
• Monitor and control beverage costs and expenses
• Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional manner
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
