Responsibilities
- Improve the local branch operations through internal systems, processes, and policies in support of organizations goals and objectives.
- Responsible for reviewing & managing the Invoice Preview Queue daily.
- Manage branch inventory and maintain proper min / max levels, while collaborating needs with Sales Team / Branch Manager / Area Manager
- Collaborate with Regional purchasing teams for stock needs and branch requirements.
- Manage logistical needs between the Jackson & Memphis warehouses.
- Monitor daily backlog to make sure product is being released in a timely manner.
- Monitor open Job Management orders to ensure they are invoiced in a timely manner.
- Support warehouse organization & storage needs by collaborating with the warehouse supervisor.
- Review all inventory adjustments & corrections daily and report findings to Branch Manager & Regional Operations team.
- Review all product returns to ensure the product is returned correctly to the shelf or to the manufacturer and proper credit is being issued to the customer in a timely manner.
- Process all manifest, freight claims, customer invoicing and / or credits daily.
- Process all AR monies (checks & credit cards) received daily.
- Research unapproved AP invoices (stock & project)
- Research disputed customer invoices and / or vendor invoices.
- Prepare and maintain all HR related documents, as needed.
- Research, price, and purchase all office & warehouse supplies.
- Review and properly code all overhead expenses.
- Process all credits requested from the credit department.
- Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.
- Coordinate all building contracts and maintenance.
- Arrange for the repair and maintenance of all office & warehouse equipment.
- Support branch AR needs with new account setup, project set up, customer tax certificates, etc.
- Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, budgets and forecast data to determine branch and department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Schedule and coordinate all meetings / training sessions, as requested by Branch Manager / Area Manager
Qualifications
- Computer literate.
- Proficiency with Solar / Eclipse ERP software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Bi
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.
- Basic understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
