Order Picking Associate

Shift(s) Available: Mon-Fri Nights, 3pm – 12am
Essential Job Duties:
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Utilize an RF scanner to perform various system functions
- Interact with salespersons, customers, vendors, and the rest of the team in the warehouse
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, placing materials and supplies in stock, and accurately recording location of inventory
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong detail-orientation
- Complete daily equipment inspection checklists
- Willingness/ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) - stand up lifts, Bendy’s, order pickers, and sit-down propane forklifts to move and shift material on the warehouse floor and racking
- Clean work area(s) daily to maintain a safe working environment at the facility
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
- Ability to work inside/outside in hot or cold environment
- Your time is divided between sitting, walking, standing, kneeling.
- Need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Manual agility required for operating machinery and handling small parts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several time per day
- Must wear required PPE (Safety-toed shoes) company provided uniform shirts and up to $150 reimbursement for steel toed shoes.
Work experience:
- Six months or more of related experience and/or training is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent to GED
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
- Forklift experience a plus

- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience with Lean and 5s methodologies
- Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality
