Receiving Lead (4AM-12:30PM)

We are looking for a Receiving Lead (4AM-12:30PM) at our Gresham, OR location.

What you will do:

• Supervise and direct daily work of receiving personnel, ensuring material is put away timely and accurately
• Responsible for teaching safe work practices and ensuring they are adhered to
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing list and enters material receiving in system
• Coordinate daily with receiving associates to verify accuracy of shipments noting damage or shortage
• Assist with associate development, including daily huddles and associate reviews
• Continue to grow lean knowledge by identifying and assisting with continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, team player with the ability to lead others  
• Previous warehouse experience mandatory
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Accurate, dependable, and punctual
• Willingness and desire to improve knowledge and skill level

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Frequent computer use
• Warehouse environment
• Requires punctuality and reliable on-site attendance
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
