We are looking for a Receiving Lead (4AM-12:30PM) at our Gresham, OR location.
What you will do:
- Supervise and direct daily work of receiving personnel, ensuring material is put away timely and accurately
- Responsible for teaching safe work practices and ensuring they are adhered to
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing list and enters material receiving in system
- Coordinate daily with receiving associates to verify accuracy of shipments noting damage or shortage
- Assist with associate development, including daily huddles and associate reviews
- Continue to grow lean knowledge by identifying and assisting with continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, team player with the ability to lead others
- Previous warehouse experience mandatory
- Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
- Accurate, dependable, and punctual
- Willingness and desire to improve knowledge and skill level
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Frequent computer use
- Warehouse environment
- Requires punctuality and reliable on-site attendance
- Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
