Job Summary for Operations Manager:*
The Operations/Resource Manager assigns employees to projects based upon their skills, abilities, availability, and performance, to maximize the effectiveness of the project/scope. This position serves as the employees’ primary point of contact regarding training, mobilization, compensation, and assignments, and ensures that all employees are current on training and performance reviews.

Experiences for Operations Manager:*
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3 plus years of project management, power generation or nuclear industry experience.
- 2 plus years of managing and developing employees.
- 2 plus years of specialized/industry experience.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Essential Functions *for Operations Manager:
- Assign employees to projects based upon their skills, abilities, availability, and performance to maximize the effectiveness of the crew
- Manage field employee’s contracts, vacation, performance evaluations, identify training and job assignment, mobilization, and address daily employee needs and requests
- Serve as the employees’ primary point of contact regarding training, mobilization, compensation, and assignments and resolve concerns or conflicts
- Recruit prospective employees, manage field personnel. Create and implement productivity metrics.
- Communicate with Customers to ensure employee availability by analyzing mob/demobilization plan
- Report utilization, bench cost, training, and balanced crew development to drive productivity and reduce cost
- Analyze customer feedback and post-project data to determine ways to improve future customer satisfaction, and resource utilization and reduce cost
- Participate in creating recruitment strategies and interviewing candidates to maintain strong/effective team
- Participate in yearly talent development review processes to retain top talent
- Occasional travel required
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and after 8-5 business hours
