SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Intern will support the logistics and warehouse function by familiarizing themselves with receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and data entry.
This team member will play a key role in creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) and rotating stock using the FIFO method (first in, first out).
In this role you will spend 50% of your time picking, shipping, receiving, and data entry. You will spend 25% of your day working with the Supply Chain Team to place manual orders and conduct cycle counts. The remaining 25% of your time will be spent validating SOPs and other duties assigned as needed.
The ideal candidate should have high attention to detail, good communication skills, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cycle Counting – Periodic counts of inventory.
- Shipping - Pick, pack, and ship items for various departments.
- Receiving - Create goods receipt in Envi for HUB deliveries.
- Manual Orders - Place manual orders as needed for Supply Chain.
- SOP Creation and Validation - Work with Logistics/Warehouse team to document processes for NS-HUB.
- Aisle Maintenance - Verify location is properly maintained (labeled, faced, debris free, FIFO etc.)
- Other duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain program of study at an accredited institution.
- General knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Possess excellent time management, communication, and decision-making skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work at NS-HUB office in Kirkland WA 5 days per week. Remote working is not available for this position.
