While reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be for movement of materials (Inbound/Outbound) and support the Material Handling team. Safety is our first concern and the team is expected to comply with safety rules & regulations. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for safely handling all products and materials as they are conveyed and palletized.
- You will be palletizing like product on pallets and prevent mixing of different product on same pallet.
- Helping the material handler load and unload completed pallets on and off the stretch wrapper.
- Maintaining a clean and uncluttered work space.
- Inspecting all equipment at start of shift determining safety concerns, repairs needed & documentations.
- Reporting any safety hazards or concerns to supervisor.
- Being in attendance to all Safety meetings, participating to include suggestions and recommendations.
- You will need to have the ability to follow a required specific sequence of steps in a process repetitively for an extended period of time.
- You have to be efficient and safe while maneuvering powered industrial vehicles (Forklifts) for the use in handling product, stacking, unloading & loading of shipments.
- You will need to organize the warehouse, product flow using FIFO system and maximize product space.
- Reading and understanding shipping, receiving and quality check instructions.
- Properly filling-out shipping, receiving & quality documentation as needed.
- You will be responsible for quality inspection checks that will need to be performed before the product is shipped or received. This will include visual checks for incorrect, mixed, and damaged product while reporting issues to the supervisor.
- You have to be able to perform product cycle counts / Inventories of product as needed.
- Team work and willingness to take additional task beyond assigned responsibilities is a must in this role.
- Completing tasks as directed by warehouse schedules and within standard times.
- Physical work including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc.
This position is in our Plastics plant in beautiful Exeter, California.

- You must have prior Forklift Experience (Required)
- You will need to have exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
- You have to have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
- To succeed in this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
- You need to have working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
- Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
- You will need to be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. as needed.
- Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
- You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
- You will need to able to perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time.
- You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- You will need to be computer savvy (use of word, Excel & Outlook programs.)
- Must be willing to work outside of regular shift hours including weekends if production or customer demands require it.
