THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Follow the company procedures and the manufacturer’s recommendations for operation of the equipment.
Monitor the powder mixing machinery, and the associated equipment. Immediately report to the supervisors any actual or potential problems.
Provide day to day maintenance on the mixers to insure properly mixed/pigmented material is produced.
Strive to perform efficiently, work to maximize output from the machinery.
Maintain all tools and equipment in optimum working condition.
Keep the pigment mixing machines, tools, and supplies clean, and free of contamination and in good working condition. Report any needed repairs to the supervisor immediately. When a job is completed, thoroughly clean all equipment before changing to a different color/material.
Recognize specific defects and their probable causes. Notify the Supervisor immediately of potential or existing problems. Provide insight and offer advice and take corrective action on eliminating or avoiding machine problems or contamination.
Assist the Production Supervisor in training of new operators, improving existing operators, and monitoring current operators as requested.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
Make recommendations for procedural changes as necessary.
Continually practice safe operation and handling of all equipment, raw materials and products throughout the entire plant.
