Primary Purpose of Position:
Our Quality Manager is accountable for all product quality for our steel packaging product lines. Enjoy working on quality system projects in partnership with your Quality Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians/Inspectors. Additionally, you will be responsible for SQF and customer audits.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, applies & maintains Quality Systems ensuring conformance to Customer, internal business, and regulatory requirements
- Ensures processes and products meet defined levels of Quality acceptability
- Ensures appropriate use of Quality tools & techniques (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DMAIC, Lean, etc.)
- Trains, coaches, develops, mentors, and directs Plant Quality team members
- Oversees, facilitates, and drives robust root cause analysis and data driven problem solving methodologies
- Supports, facilitates, and drives continuous improvement activities
- Leads, drives, and supports RCA & CAPA to increase FPY while also reducing Customer Complaints, scrap, and inspection costs
- Lead & drive the Plant from reactionary Quality to preventive Quality
