Customer Investments Analyst

- Own the business and financial evaluation of investment opportunities, summarizing analysis and preparing recommendations for local and headquarter management
- Play a vital role in cross-functional teams (legal, finance, sales, etc.) to execute approved investment opportunities
- Maintain and fine tune organizational tracking of the investment funnel, own the ROIC analysis of the current investment portfolio, provide status updates and KPI tracking to the team
- Understand and monitor post-close performance of strategic investments, identifying deviations for senior management and pro-actively designing remediation opportunities for execution
- Enhance existing investment reporting, to ensure all stakeholders are informed of investment performance and the investment opportunity funnel status
- Develop deep understanding of commercial hearing instrument market, including growth drivers, the competitive landscape, and sources of Sonova’s competitive advantage
- Bachelor Degree in business, finance or related discipline is required
- MBA considered an asset
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong quantitative and analytic skills – possess an intellectual curiosity along with the ability to distill data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Broad financial acumen including a strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance principles
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage many projects while maintaining attention to quality and accuracy
- Comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous Corporate environment with aggressive timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface directly with Corporate partners and establish quick rapport
- Demonstrated ability to interact will all levels of management
- Proven success in driving for results, possess high sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit to identify areas of continuous improvement
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Willingness to travel or host live meetings with business partner targets requiring extensive due diligence
