Sonwil is hiring a Billing Specialist responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities for Sonwil’s logistics and transportation billing department. This role will perform general billing functions and support the back-office operations in accordance with internal company policies.

Sonwil is hiring a Billing Specialist responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities for Sonwil’s logistics and transportation billing department. This role will perform general billing functions and support the back-office operations in accordance with internal company policies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage billing process, including receiving, auditing, indexing, and processing customer invoices
- Reconcile billable rates across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing
- Request necessary documents
- Data entry
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve related issues in billing, payables, and receivables
- Maintain customer databases
- Analyze billing reports and report inaccuracies and variances Administrative tasks, projects and reports as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in business, accounting or finance preferred
- 2 years of experience in accounting/finance/business or logistics and transportation industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems in a fast-paced office setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to work in an office setting.
- This position is administrative in nature and will require the ability to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 5 pounds.
