Overview
We need you to bring your vision and passion to a team dedicated to reimagining music through immersive media. We are looking for someone with an attention to the details to perform “testing” which is manipulating software to expose defects, investigating, creating repeatable steps and recording them in Jira. In this role, you will work directly with our QA Leads to review designs early and make sure that features release with minimal defects. As products grow, so do features, you will generate and adjust test plans, which requires strong testing strategies and experience. An ideal candidate is someone who will their experience and help influence a growing QA team.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute QA test plans by performing thorough testing
- Assist engineering, designers, and technical artists in reproducing defects and root cause analysisby with clear and concise documentation using Jira.
- Follow instructions and accomplish tasks as directed by the QA Lead or QA Management.
- Inform the production team of risk by communicating issues that may block or slow down software release as early as possible
Who you are:
- Minimum of 1 years of testing experience specially in the gaming field
- Must have experience with Whitebox or Gray Box testing
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, able to prioritize and stay on task in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of console platforms (PS4 preferred) and related peripherals
- Can easily troubleshoot general software and hardware issues
- Experience using a bug database such as JIRA
- Experience with test case management software such as TestRail
- Ability to multitask and work well as an individual as well as with a team
- A console video game enthusiast
