What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Sood Family Medicine?
Candidate must have 2 years of experience providing Primary care or Family Practice care as a Physicians Assistant.
This is a full-time opportunity but we are flexible if you need to work only 4 days per week. We are a small practice providing care to the Bel Air community of Harford County for the past 16 years. We are interested in adding another provider to our practice to work along side of Dr. Sood, the owner of the practice.
The PA or NP will conduct physical assessments on adults and children. Will interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose and treat common conditions, and see patients for same day sick visits. They will provide referrals for patients to be seen by specialists, prescribe medications as deemed medically necessary, and will order diagnostic testing. The PA will provide accurate assessment diagnosis, and treatments for all age groups. The candidate will also provide counseling, patient education and vaccinations as needed.

CREDENTIALS:
*Current National Board Certification
*State of Maryland license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
*Current DEA license
*Excellent computer skills, proficient with the use of electronic charting (EHR)
*Outstanding organization skills and the ability to multi-task
*Initiative, creativity, problem solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
*Ability to work without direct supervision
*Ability to collaborate with Dr. Sood as needed to provide quality care
*Ability to be kind, compassionate, and present a friendly welcoming attitude to the community of patients of which we provide care.
