What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiber Splicer position at Sorensen Companies, Inc.?
SCI is a leader in the excavation and communication division of construction. What does that mean? It means we love to play in dirt, we love to bury things in dirt, we love to hire people who love to hop in trenches, shovel dirt, and work hard! We really love our fiber splicers - these amazing individuals jump down in the dirt, in the trenches, in the holes and fix and splice our fiber lines.
We are looking for hardworking individuals to start their career in a fast paced environment and flourishing industry. Willing to train safety minded, high energy, team oriented people. Fusion splicing/ fiber placement experience a plus but not required.
Candidates must: possess a high character, the ability to be self motivated, be able to work at heights for extended periods of time, carry a ladder, ability to work weekends and potentially long days, visually differentiate between colors, must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY
Daily and exemplary attendance and punctuality is required for this position. The work may require overtime hours to be worked to achieve desired results.
