Driver/Warehouse Associate
SOS Driver and Representative
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
Division/Department:Warehouse
Reports to: Operations Manager
SUMMARY

The SOS Driver/Warehouse Associate will support the SOS mission by collecting and picking up surplus medical supplies from hospitals and medical offices and delivering supplies to local educational and medical partners. The position reports to the Operations Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
At the direction of the Operations Manager:
- Pick-up delivery of donated medical supplies and equipment from hospitals and other locations.
- Deliver local and regional donations.
- Collect medical supplies within hospitals using established processes.
- Weigh and record all incoming medical supplies and equipment pieces. Assign equipment numbers.
- Support warehouse operations on site when not driving. This includes assisting with organizing supplies and equipment within the warehouse for efficient use of available space and with attention to safety.
- Assist in staging and preparing supplies and equipment for international shipment and help load the shipment
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Basic math and language skills
Ability to operate handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Ability to understand spatial dimensions and arrange items efficiently
QUALIFICATIONS
High Graduate or GED
Clean driving record
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Ability to work standing over 8 hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
