What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Producer position at Sotheby's?
THE ROLE
The Web Producer is a member of the Editorial team and is responsible for publishing content on Sotheby’s digital platforms and ensuring that it remains fresh, engaging and accurate. The Producer will work closely with internal clients to receive, finalize, and publish content on the website that support Sotheby’s auctions, selling exhibitions, and general editorial program.
The Producer will meet with internal clients to publish digital catalogues, sale series landing pages, travelling exhibition pages, manage onsite promotion and general upkeep of sothebys.com.
The Producer reports to the Digital Content Director and will work closely with their local Marketing team and Producer counterparts in New York, Hong Kong and London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, coordinate and publish assets from key stakeholders in the company across a variety of distribution channels: sothebys.com, mobile site and apps, emails, videos and employee portal.
Content will include:
- Publication of e-catalogues for auctions
- Sale Series pages
- Information on Department Pages
- Articles and Video content
- All content supporting our editorial strategy
Collaborate with the Product Development team to make recommendations for continuous improvement, help define requirements for new features and learn new processes and workflows for new features as they arise.
Work closely with all members of the digital media services department to ensure a collaborative approach is taken to all tasks and suggest changes and improvements to existing processes to gain efficiencies.
