Production Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
• Supervise, coach, and develop their team while ensuring all safety and quality standards are attained
• Work closely with other managers and support staff to ensure expectations are aligned
• Read and analyze KPI charts, work orders, and other associated documents to determine production requirements
• Assist in hiring and training new employees
• Responsible for multiple employees including respective Team Leads
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions, and notify management when materials need to be ordered
• Gain knowledge and experience with processes and procedures of all internal departments
• Continually monitor and maintain appropriate tools to perform daily tasks, safely and efficiently
• Assist and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports
• Maintain communication between employees and senior leadership to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood
• Conduct full inspection and approve finished products to ensure quality, and standards are met before they are declared ready for use
• Other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High School Diploma / GED
• Manufacturing experience minimum of 5 years
• Must be highly organized, ability to follow instructions, and work independently.
• Proficient in computer systems including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a professional manner
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Bilingual Plus

• Ability to lift/move/pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout the day
• Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
• Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and in group settings
• Vision: Required to have close visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
• Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
• Ability to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend and move inside the facility to move product
