Associate Energy Analyst

Job Description

The Associate Energy Analyst will be a key part of the SourceOne Energy Management team responsible for providing energy consulting analytics and support to the internal team.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Directly reporting to Manager of Energy Management
2. Gathering and consolidating data from varied sources
3. Managing utility information for multiple customers on a daily and monthly basis
4. Validating and verifying customer costs and utilization using rate engines
5. Fielding inquiry requests and managing problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues
6. Coordinating and assisting with new customer account creation
7. Researching and identifying procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s utility information
8. Providing follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers as needed
9. Supporting administrative needs of the business, including but not limited to, accounting,
reporting, the sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

• BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field
• Energy, utility or related experience is preferred, but not required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Good PC, G-Suite and Microsoft Office skills, strong Excel and Word skills required;

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills required
• Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong telephone etiquette
• Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills
• Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications
• High level of professionalism and integrity
