As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended to our clients. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients and a mentor for other employees working alongside you. For this position, you will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to work closely with stakeholders at various professional levels to deliver complex, integrated software solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead discovery sessions with colleagues and clients to identify business needs, goals, pain points, and application landscape for process and business improvement
- Conduct and support Strategy Projects with Enterprise Architect, producing key findings, recommendations, and roadmap for Salesforce solutions
- Groom and refine the project backlog in collaboration with the Project Manager and client stakeholders
- Provide guidance and standards on user stories to support successful acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements
- Document and support the creation of procedural and architectural diagrams
- Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce
- Research product development options and provides analysis for solution direction, including 3rd party application recommendations
- Collaborate with clients and provide recommendations on Salesforce solutions using best practices approach
- Act as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments.
- Develop solution architecture documentation, design specifications, and application guides to support the deployment sprint
- Serve as a functional expert between business and technology and translate client needs into actionable technical requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years in a team-focused environment related to management consulting, advisory, or professional services
- Case Management experience, preferably for State level government customers
- 4 years experience working as a team lead/manager delivering Salesforce projects
- Confident and highly communicative, with excellent business insight and a willingness to challenge others or propose changes
- A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both customers, consultants and engineers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments with minimal disruption
- Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
- Analytical – be able to successfully manage technically and organizationally complex environments
- Knowledge and experience with formal delivery methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
- Bachelor's / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, or a similar field of study
- Minimum Salesforce certified: Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder
- This role is a Remote/Telecommute position with the ability to travel up to 10-20%

- Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
