Job Summary:

Sourcemap is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our growing Data Solutions team. The Senior Analyst will help ensure customer success, retention, and growth by meeting commitments to the customer through timely, insightful and accurate data collection and analysis. This role will work closely with our Customer Success and Data Engineering teams to ensure projects are successful and deliver value to the customer. The Senior Analyst will also play a key role supporting and owning cross-functional internal projects, supporting the training of new team members, and mentoring other analysts.

Hybrid in our downtown Manhattan office is preferred but can be fully remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Configure on-platform (maps, dashboards) and off-platform reporting (geospatial analysis, custom reports.) to meet customer requirements
• Own data management & analysis for assigned projects: data cleaning, harmonization, and analysis of Sourcemap customer data from a variety of data sources, enabling Sourcemap customers to better understand their supply chains and progress toward their specific sourcing goals.
• Standardize and automate recurring reporting or repetitive processes
• Collaborate with Customer Success to define customer KPIs and align on expected outcomes from data collection
• Communicate effectively with data engineers to define data requirements and resolve data-related issues
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to create solutions for complex customer needs and challenges
• Become an expert on the Sourcemap platform as well as customer workflows and needs
• Document complex workflows and train fellow team members on those workflows
• Support/own internal team projects (eg. projects aimed at improving team efficiency and effectiveness, process improvement, reporting standardization, etc.)
• Mentorship, supporting during the training and onboarding of new analysts
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant experience with data analytics and working in project teams
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis, with a strong emphasis on writing efficient and well-documented code
• Experienced in leveraging BI tools, particularly Tableau, to create insightful and visually compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate analytical findings
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, organize day to day tasks, and meet client requests within deadlines with high quality deliverables
• Experience effectively working within project teams on complex projects that involve cross-functional coordination with multiple stakeholders to meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-growing organization (a tech company with a SaaS product preferred)
• Supply chain experience or data science experience preferred
• Ultimately, an outstanding Data Senior Analyst should demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Sourcemap offers a competitive compensation package based on job-related factors such as business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications. For this role, the base salary range is $75,000-$100,000. Sourcemap offers a benefit package, including but not limited to paid time off, paid holidays, medical, dental and vision benefits, and 401k.

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
