Cross-Utilitzed FBO / Maintenance

Job Summary

Responsible for marshaling, fueling, towing, and delivering other services for aircraft and crews as needed. In Addition, this position is responsible for performing repair work on airport buildings, taxiways, runways, lawn keeping and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate equipment including but not limited to tractor with loader and bush hog, Ex-Mark mower, floor scrubber, re-fueler trucks, aircraft tug. - Onsite training provided
• Maintain vehicles, signage, and airfield lighting system.
• Perform various maintenance and repairs in the terminal building and other facilities on airport property, including but not limited to painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical and upkeep.
• Perform general airport maintenance work as required including but not limited to, fence and gate repairs.
• Empty trash barrels as required on airport property.
• Maintain grass areas on and off airfield including but not limited to, mowing along taxiways and runways, maintaining landscaping shrubs, flowerbeds, and plantings around airport grounds and buildings.
• Perform various aircraft services including but not limited to marshaling, fueling, towing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training and experience in use of related equipment or FBO services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others in a work environment.
• Employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Will be required to be on-call and work holidays.
• Must be a flexible team player that takes direction well, is safety conscious, customer-oriented, and willing and able to learn to operate all equipment and perform all tasks as assigned.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs
• Ability to drive manual shift vehicles is preferred.
