What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN-Wound Care Specialist position at South Carolina Region?
Associate is responsible for serving as a clinical resource, educator and consultant to the health care staff in developing & implementing the plan of care for East Cooper Regional Medical Center patients with specific disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems, including ostomies, fistulae, tubes, dermal wounds, & incontinence. The WOC nurse can expect to care for patients of all ages including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, & geriatrics although he/she will primarily deal with the adult and geriatric patient.
