Overview:
South Central Tennessee Tourism is inviting applications for the position of Director of Administration and Social Media Strategy. This key role involves overseeing the daily operations of our office and crafting the social media strategy for the organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional computer and typing skills, and proficiency in various online platforms including Gmail, Google Suite, Google Calendar, Wix, Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure smooth daily operations within the office.
- Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, managing all social media channels.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, Marketing Director, and Director of Outreach to ensure a synchronized organizational calendar and schedule management using the CRM on monday.com.
- Maintain and potentially enhance systems and protocols for efficient office management.
- Assist with grant administration and writing, providing support and coordination in the application and reporting processes.
- Organize and manage documents and files, including sensitive and confidential information.
- Generate engaging content for social media platforms, monitor engagement and analytics, and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent computer and typing skills, with proficiency in Gmail, Google Suite, Google Calendar, Wix, Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram, and other online platforms.
- Basic knowledge of grant administration and writing.
- Proven experience in social media management and strategy development.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to undertake regional travel as required.
