Watermaster Clerk

The South Columbia Basin Irrigation District is accepting applications for a Watermaster Clerk position in our Eltopia office. Duties: telephone coverage, radio communication, water reports, monthly/quarterly balancing, managing/tracking inventories, balancing/reconciling payroll, and updating/managing fleet maintenance system. Qualifications: customer service, admin. support, and general computer skills required. Salary: $20.90 – $27.48 per hour DOQ. Applications are available at the District’s Pasco office (1135 E. Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors in person or over the phone

- Perform general office duties such as typing, filing, and data entry

- Coordinate projects and assist with project management tasks

- Enter orders accurately into the system

- Serve as a liaison between different departments within the organization

- Maintain office supplies and ensure inventory is well-stocked

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

- Manage phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate personnel

Skills:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally

- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy

- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers

- Data entry experience with attention to detail

- Ability to organize and maintain physical and electronic files

- Experience with project coordination is a plus

- Knowledge of order entry processes is preferred
