We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Parts Counter Specialist candidate with strong commitment to customer service and focused on attaining results. A candidate that's detail oriented and determined to deliver a WOW factor customer satisfaction every time. This position would work closely with our customers on the phone in person and by email, selling parts and accessories to either upgrade or repair their vehicles. This candidate must obtain strong communication skills and a high ability to listen and understand customers' needs. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced environment
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Assist customers with the purchase of parts and accessories in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with customers, technician, service advisors, vendors and parts staff to complete repair/parts request
- Answer phone calls, internet, and in-store request for pricing and ordering of parts and accessories
- Maintain proper filing system for paperwork corresponding to deliveries, special orders, internal we-owes, etc.
- Assist in processing webstore, e-commerce, Parts Trader, CCC platform orders
- Maintain accurate records for merchandise warranty returns and vendor returns
- Handle payment on parts and accessories sales
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer/supply issue
- Receive and process all parts orders
- Pull parts and accessories orders for wholesale and retail customers
- Aid technician with looking up, quoting, and billing out parts to repair orders
- Notify customers on parts arrival
- Understand and control of parts inventory
- Ensure all parts are billed correctly
- Create bin locations for new stock
- Notify of shortage & damage discrepancies
- Process boutique accessories and shelve them
- Prepare items for returns and shipping
- Keep things in neat and orderly fashion
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
- Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills with a high understanding level of customer service
