South Dakota State University (SDSU) Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is offering an exciting career opportunity as a Wellbeing Specialist. This position will serve the university by developing, fostering, and enhancing wellbeing initiatives in alignment with our mission, vision, and core values. With the national focus on mental health and wellbeing, this position will provide critical resources to enhance the university culture around wellbeing for students and employees through intentional and proactive strategies, as well as support fiscal efforts through grant writing. This is a 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible position. This position is supervised by the Director of Fitness and Recreation in the Miller Wellness Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Wellbeing Specialist is a new position responsible for creating and implementing an institution-wide wellbeing framework to align with the university’s strategic priorities. The following responsibilities are central to this position:
SALARY RANGE:
The base salary for the Wellbeing Specialist is in the $50’s. We offer a generous retirement plan that includes 6% matching, 10 hours of annual leave each month, 9.34 hours of sick leave each month, and eleven paid holidays. Relocation benefits are available per university’s guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· A Master's degree in Public Health, Counseling, Higher Education, Healthcare, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work or related by start date.
