EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- One year of professional experience, preferably in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding and support of community colleges.
- A professional and positive attitude towards their work, the mission of the institution, and the goals of the College.
- Adaptability, continuous learning, strong critical judgment, a commitment to diversity and teamwork, and providing quality services are some of the competencies required for success.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents including invoices and monthly reports. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to interpret and understand mathematical relationships.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts and develop statistical information. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
