South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape Cod, and Islands, South Shore Early Education and Care in Marshfield seeks a full-time PM-Teacher Preschool EEC candidate, 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, 10:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
POSITION: 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, 10:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using the creative curriculum. Assist Co-Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool is required. Bachelor’s degree in early childhood preferred or AA/AS degree minimum.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
