Technology Liaison

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Assist the Enrollment Director with a focus on educating and troubleshooting ProCare with specific Center/Program Staff and Parents/Guardians. This is an internal position that is a stipend based one-year position. Future work will be contingent on funding. All staff hired for these positions will be trained on ProCare. Independent practice and learning will be required.
Rate: $1000.00 stipend for one year to be paid out in two installments, January and June

Weymouth Afterschool: 1 Technical Liaison
Quincy PreSchool: 1 Technical Liaison
Broadmeadows Afterschool: 1 Technical Liaison
Atlantic Afterschool: 1 Technical Liaison
Randolph PreSchool: 1Technical Liaison
Randolph Afterschool RED: 1 Technical Liaison
21st Century Programming: 1 Technical Liaison for all 21st Century Locations
EHS/FCC: 1 Technical Liaison

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train with Enrollment Team beginning October/November. Team trainings will occur in the morning and after business hours.
  • Train existing staff at your Center in ProCare.
  • Train newly hired staff at your Center in ProCare.
  • Point of contact for troubleshooting with parents/guardians enrolled at your Center.
  • Prepare ProCare reports, statistics, and other documents, and provide general support as needed or requested by Enrollment Director and/or Center Director
  • Ensure confidentiality of all privileged and proprietary SOUTH SHORE STARS information.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned during and after training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Enrollment Director.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Comfort with learning and teaching new technology skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and support staff and families with varying technology skills
  • Ability to think strategically with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage projects and technology tasks that you will be trained on
  • Ability to communicate with staff and families successfully and positively
  • Desire to laugh, have fun, and help others!

Reports to: Enrollment Director

Physical Demands:

This job requires the employee to stand, stoop, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 lbs. The position requires fine motor skills of typing, writing, filing and visual acuity. This position requires the ability to speak clearly and understandably.
Work Environment: Working conditions consist of a regular office environment for all functions of the job but limited remote work may be considered. Time may be allocated for local travel to/from member organizations, individual donors, board members, or funders as part of this position.
