General Description/Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief Impact Officer, this position is responsible for the overseeing of all food bank partner agencies to ensure compliance with all State, Federal and Feeding
America rules and regulations by our member agencies. The Agency Relations Manager works with all the agencies to keep them informed of all the activities of the food bank. The Agency Relations
Manager is the liaison between member agencies and STFB to ensure the effective, efficient, and equitable distribution of products to those in need.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Provides strategic planning, direction and evaluation for STFB’s agencies.
▪ Provides management and support to Agency Relations team.
▪ Cultivates and maintains excellent relationships with agency partners and community members.
▪ Ensures all FA and USDA contract compliance requirements are met for STFB agencies.
▪ Collaborates with Chief Impact Officer to develop policies/systems for Agencies to follow.
▪ Develops, monitors, and manages program budget.
▪ Develops all documents pertaining to agency membership, agency education, agency compliance.
▪ Provide management and support to Agency Relations team for agency training and communications.
▪ Regularly communicates Agency Services activities and initiatives to Chief Impact Officer and other internal stakeholders.
▪ Serves as back-up to all supervised staff positions on an emergency basis.
▪ Attends and/or presents at conferences, meetings, and seminars as assigned/requested.
▪ Perform any other duties as needed to fulfill our mission, drive our vision and abide by our values.
▪ Supports team members by: establishing performance objectives and measuring progress toward goals; leading team meetings; developing team members’ skills and abilities, both individually and as a group, in order to increase effectiveness; and ensuring that employees have access to the resources needed to be successful.
▪ Conducts performance reviews on a timely basis in compliance with STFB policy.
▪ Provides counseling/coaching to ensure successful performance, and utilizes performance management processes as necessary, including use of proper documentation.

- Plans and schedules the annual Agency Relations meetings with Agency Relations Specialist.
- Screens new agencies and reviews an agency's eligibility, oversees completion of all applications and forms with Agency Relations Specialist. A g e n c y R e l a t i o n s Manager conducts site visits, and develops a recommendation for the Board's consideration for approval.
- Confirms that AR Specialist creates annual monitoring schedule for all sites.
- Monitors all member agencies annually.
- Coordinates and attends outside networking meetings to develop and encourage resource building and sharing in individual communities.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Impact Officer and/or Chief Executive
Officer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years experience in dealing with agencies or organizations.
- Three years experience in supervision, preferably with a Food Bank or nonprofit organization.
- Ability to work computer programs to accumulate and interpret data.
- Current and valid Driver License and good driving record.
- Able to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to understand and work with the diverse dynamics of the non-profit/social service and religious/charitable sectors.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management and strategic planning skills
- Able to work well as a team player and independently
- Able to obtain fingerprint clearance c ard and criminal background search.

Working Conditions
This position is generally an office based position but a sufficient amount of time is usually spent either traveling or working at the various agencies performing the annual audits or in assisting the member agencies.
